Symptoms of under-active thyroid/ Hashimoto's Thyroiditis

  • Feeling tired all the time
  • Being sensitive to the cold (especially cold hands and feet)
  • Constipation
  • Weight gain (for no obvious reason)
  • Muscle aches/ weakness
  • Muscle cramps
  • Dry skin
  • Low sex drive
  • Irregular/ heavy periods

  • Weight loss (unexpected/ unexplained)
  • Absent or very light periods

  • Trembling/ tremor
  • Swelling in the neck (goitre)
  • Hives
  • Redness on the palms of your hands
  • Heart palpitations
  • Facial twitching

Adrenal fatigue

  • Trouble getting out of bed
  • Difficulty getting to sleep
  • Feeling tired but wired
  • Chronic tiredness, even after you wake up in the morning
  • Trouble thinking clearly or finishing tasks
  • Low blood pressure
  • Lightheadedness/ dizziness on standing
  • Decreased tolerance to cold
  • Low blood sugar (hypglycaemia)
  • Sub normal body temperature
  • Lowered resistant to infection
  • Allergies
  • Depression
  • Joint aches and pains
  • Tendency to constipation
  • Muscle weakness
  • Craving sweet or salty foods
