💫 This will change everything
You're doing everything right. Eating well. Moving your body. Managing stress the best you can with about seven things demanding your attention at once. And your weight, energy and mood are doing their own thing anyway.

That's not in your head. It's not a discipline problem either. It's two hormones nobody warned you about - insulin and cortisol. And most of the advice out there makes both of them worse.

The Missing Midlife Manual is a free 5-part private audio series that explains exactly what's going on, in plain English, with one real thing you can change each episode. No jargon. No vague "it's just your hormones" hand-wave. Just the actual mechanism, and what to do about it.

About your host

Ailsa Hichens, Menopause Nutritionist & Certified Coach
BA (hons) DipION mBANT CNHC UKIHCA
I'm Ailsa Hichens — registered nutritional therapist, health coach, and the author of the Amazon bestselling book Everything They Told You About Menopause Weight Loss Is Wrong.
For more than ten years I've specialised in menopause and midlife health, working with hundreds of women who were doing everything right and getting nowhere. My job is to explain why — and fix it.
I also live it. I work full time, I'm the only parent to teens and young adults, and I have four cats who have strong opinions about mealtimes. There is no such thing as a weekend off. Which is exactly why everything I do is built around real life, not an idealised version of it.
I've tested almost everything over the years — including a few things that should probably have stayed in the 90s. What I know for certain is that good health doesn't need to be complicated. It just needs to be right for you, specifically.
That's what these five episodes are about.
